FIXATION OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATE FOR HAJ-2008

Haj Committee of India, Haj House, 7-A, M.R.A. Marg (Palton Road), Mumbai-400001 invites sealed quotations for disbursement of Saudi Riyals in cash to the Pilgrims of Haj 1429 (H) – 2008 @ SR.2100/- per Pilgrim at seventeen (17)  Embarkation Points in India before their departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Haj Charter Flights from  1.11.2008  to  1.12.2008  tentatively.

The total amount involved would be around Saudi Riyals 23.10 crores.  Interested Nationalized/Scheduled Banks  may contact the office of the Haj Committee of India during office hours (i.e. 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. excluding Sunday) for further details and the terms & conditions relating to the assignment. 

The quotations should be delivered in the office of the Haj Committee of India, Haj House, 7-A, M.R.A. Marg (Palton Road), Mumbai - 400 001  on 15th July , 2008 30th July , 2008 6th August, 2008 latest by 10.30 a.m.

The Nationalized/Scheduled Banks should also depute their representative who has appropriate authority to negotiate with the Haj Committee of India about various terms & conditions and further improvement in the rates quoted. The rates once quoted shall remain firm.
